About

Campaigner, fan and 'webmaster'

Safe standing campaigner, Bristol City fan, Union Berlin member and England supporter: that's me.

I also like dabbling with websites. Having run 'The World Cup in Germany dot com' as a guide for fans going to the 2006 World Cup, I then ran my Safe Standing Roadshow site for ten years. I now still help to maintain the Bristol City Supporters Club & Trust website and union-berlin.com, a fan-run site for supporters of Union Berlin.

For Euro 2024, I created this site as Euro2024inGermany.com, and am now gradually converting it to its present form as a general guide for fans going to watch football in Germany.

Having myself watched games at numerous grounds in Germany over the years (starting way back in 1977!) and now living part of the time in Berlin, I hope I'll be able to provide some useful tips and information for you if you're planning to watch football in Germany in the coming weeks or months.

Enjoy browsing the site!

Cheers,

Jon Darch

PS: If you find the website useful and would like to buy me a 'virtual' beer, that's very kind. The virtual bar is here.
