Sitting outside a bar on the edge of a city's main square is one way to spend time when not at the game. But if you'd like a few other ideas, I've compiled below a list of 100 things to do (originally done for Euro 2024, so focussed mainly on the cities that hosted the tournament).
They range from brewery tours to stadium tours, from computer games to concentration camps, architecture to art, diving to golf and Audi to Porsche.
I hope you find a few things here that you'd like to do. If you have any other ideas that you'd like to share, please send me an e-mail.
Tours at some stadia may not be available on certain days due to staging or preparing for matches. To date, I have received the following information:
Berlin Olympic Stadium
They WILL be offering tours during the Euros, but not two days before or one day after a game.
Dortmund
The museum WILL be open and tours WILL be given. More details to follow.
Cologne
They don't know yet (as of February).
Stuttgart, Frankfurt and Gelsenkirchen
No tours.
Hamburg Millerntor
St Pauli's ground. Being used for training, but they expect to give tours. More details to follow.
Extra time
If you have any other ideas that you'd like to share, please drop me a line by e-mail. I'll add a few more here in due course.
