Gelsenkirchen - Fan Zone

Gelsenkirchen will be providing two 'Meeting Points' for supporters of the respective teams on matchdays, plus a big fan zone with large screens for public viewing.

The meeting points will be on Sankt-Urbanus-Kirchplatz square in the Buer district to the north of the stadium and on Heinrich-König-Platz square in the centre of town, not that far from the main station. For the England vs Serbia game, the former will be the meeting point for Serbia fans and the latter for England fans.

The general fan zone will be in the Nordsternpark (see map below), where all games will be shown. The biggest screen will be in the amphitheatre on the other side of the canal, where the Germany games, all games played in Gelsenkirchen, the two semi-finals and the final will be shown.

For the England vs Serbia match, there will also be Fan Zone just for England fans at the Trabrennbahn (harness racing) racecourse (visible at the very bottom of the map below). Shuttle buses will run between the main station and the racecourse, and the racecourse and the stadium.
